The cardano blockchain is a cryptocurrency that was designed to make transactions, and the technology behind it, more efficient. Cardano is one of the first cryptocurrencies that uses Haskell (a programming language) for smart contracts. The cardano team also plans to solve many common problems with other cryptos like scalability and interoperability issues.
Komodo is a blockchain project that provides anonymity-centric security. Komodo uses delayed proof of work (dPoW) to notarize Bitcoin transactions on the komodo chain. The komodo system relies on "notary nodes" which are incentivized with kmd tokens for their service. There are two types of komodos: komodos and kmd coins. The former is used to create blocks in the komodo ecosystem while the latter can be exchanged for other cryptocurrencies or fiat money through various exchanges like Binance, Cryptopia, HitBTC, etc.
