Shardus is a sharded blockchain network that can be used for developing decentralized applications. Shardus provides the sharding solution to scalability problem which has been haunting crypto world since its inception. Shardus does not use Proof of Work (PoW) or Proof of Stake (PoS) consensus mechanism, but rather it uses Byzantine Fault Tolerance (BFT) algorithm for achieving consensus on shard chains and cross-shard transactions.
